Red Dead Online Missions - Free Roam Missions, Stranger Missions List

Red Dead Online has its very own selection of story missions. Here are the ones that you can currently take on.

Red Dead Online has launched into Beta for all players, and it looks to be slightly more content packed than many had expected. The real surprise, and it's a nice one at that, is that there are actually a handful of story missions to take on. They tell the tale of a widow scorned, and require you to hunt down the man who killed her husband. In this Red Dead Online Missions Guide, we'll list all of the Red Dead Online Story Missions, and take a look at some of the Stranger missions as well.

We'll be adding more and more Red Dead Online Guides as we spend more time with the game. You can check out our Red Dead Online Guides Hub to see what we've put together so far. If you head over now, you'll find some helpful tips on getting started.

Red Dead Online Missions List

There is a selection of missions to take on in Red Dead Online, with a loose plot thread connecting them all. You'll need to have high morality to unlock two of them, and low morality to unlock two as well, so make sure you access both so that you can clear all of them. Let's take a look at all of the story missions in Red Dead Online.

Red Dead Online Highly Illegal and Highly Immoral

This story mission tasks players with tracking down Alfredo Montez. Things don't quite go to plan though, setting things up for the next mission.

Red Dead Online Honor Among Horse Thieves

This is the first mission that players will be asked to do, and it involves some familiar faces. You'll need to steal some horses, after which you'll be awarded one of your own.

Red Dead Online If the Hat Fits...

Horley points you towards a Blackwater police officer. He gives you a bounty mission involving a cunning con man hiding up in Pike's Basin.

Red Dead Online Kerosene, Tar, and Greed

This action-packed jaunt takes players on a train heist. Then, they must take out some workers at the oil factory, using the train's mounted miniguns.

Red Dead Online Kill Them, Each and Every One

This mission involves hunting down the man that killed Ms LeClerk's husband. You don't quite get your man this time, setting things up for a later mission.

Red Dead Online Love and Honor

A man tasks your gang with rescuing his wife from a supposed kidnapping. Things aren't quite as they seem though, and you'll need to make a moral decision as a group.

Red Dead Online More Than One Way to Earn a Buck

You'll seek revenge on behalf of Samson Finch in this mission. It's essentially an all out assault on Fort Mercer.

Red Dead Online The Right Side of the Tracks

The Valentine Sheriff needs your help tracking down a group of thieves. A man named Bob Crawfish heads up the gang, and after you've caught them you'll need to make a tough decision as a group.

Red Dead Online Where Your Morals Lead You

Marshal Davies gives you this mission, asking you to take out a gang hiding out in Tall trees. It's a tricky fight, so you'll likely need a full Posse to complete it.

Red Dead Online Stranger Missions

You can also take on various stranger missions in Red Dead Online. They are highlighted on your map as orange icons. Head to each stranger to hear their pitch, after which you can choose to accept it or not. Stranger missions always affect your honor, so think carefully about taking them on. Several familiar characters act as Strangers in Red Dead Online, but we won't spoil it here.
