The Fortnite Week 3 Challenges for Season 4 are live right now in the game, ready for all Battle Pass holders to take on and complete. In this Fortnite Week 3 Challenges guide, we’ll be walking you through how to complete every challenge in the slate, so you can earn all the Bronze Stars possible as soon as the challenges eventually go live.
If you instead need anything else on Season 4 of Fortnite Battle Royale that isn't the week 3 challenges, including how to purchase the new Battle Pass and unlock several new reward tiers in the process, as well as all the new skins including the Carbide and Omega that you can unlock and then upgrade, head over to our Fortnite Season 4 guides hub.
What are the Fortnite Week 3 Challenges?
The Fortnite Weekly Challenges come about every Tuesday at 1 am PST/4 am EST/9 am BST, and they always provide seven new objectives for you to conquer. These Weekly Challenges mix it up between combat and exploration, and might challenge you to either eliminate opponents with a certain type of weapon, or to find a hidden item scattered across the Battle Royale map.
Every time you complete one of these Weekly Challenges, you'll earn yourself a specified amount of Bronze Stars, which go towards unlocking the next reward tier in the Season 4 Battle Pass. If you manage to progress to a new reward tier (of which there are 100 in total) you'll earn new cosmetic items for your Fortnite character to equip, including new outfits, emotes, sprays and more.
Don't worry about rushing to complete the Week 3 Challenges before the Week 4 ones roll out, as every new Fortnite Weekly Challenge that releases during Season 4 will hang around for you to complete until the season ends. In other words, you've got until early July to complete every Season 4 Weekly Challenge, and unlock the maximum amount of reward tiers possible.
The Fortnite Week 3 Challenges might have leaked slightly early on Fortnite Tracker, but as always the leaked challenges were accurate. You can see the full list just below, which are live in Fortnite Battle Royale as of 1 am PST/4 am EST/9 am BST on May 15:
- Watch a match replay (1).
- Deal damage with pistols to opponents (500).
- Search chests in Lonely Lodge (7).
- Search Rubber Duckies (10).
- Follow the treasure map found in Salty Springs (Hard).
- Sniper rifle eliminations (2/Hard).
- Eliminate opponents in Tilted Towers (3/Hard).
Luckily, none of the challenges listed above actually force you to find multiple items or landmarks within a single Fortnite Battle Royale match. You can complete the Week 3 Challenges across as many games as you need, and as we mentioned previously, you've got until the very end of Season 4 before they refresh.
Watch a Match Replay
Completing this Week 3 Challenge is simple. All you need to do is scroll over to the 'Career' tab on the main Battle Royale menu, and select 'Replays'. All you need to do now is watch any one of the replays on the screen, and this Week 3 Challenge will be marked as complete.
Deal Damage With Pistols to Opponents
As for the challenge concerning the pistol, this is one of the easier Week 3 Challenges, considering that you can find a pistol virtually anywhere on the Battle Royale map. On top of this, you can deal 500 damage points across multiple games of Fortnite, and you merely need to deal out damage, and not necessarily kill another player.
Search Chests in Lonely Lodge
There are certain chests in specified locations scattered all across the Lonely Lodge area on the Battle Royale map, but keep in mind that not all the chests will spawn in each given match. For a quick walkthrough of where to find every chest, head over to our Fortnite Lonely Lodge chests guide.
Search Rubber Duckies
The Rubber Duckies are a new item in Season 4 of Fortnite, but don't think they'll be easy to find. For a complete walkthrough of where to find every single Rubber Ducky scattered across the Battle Royale map, make sure to head over to our Fortnite Rubber Duckies locations guide.
Follow the Treasure Map Found in Salty Springs
There's actually a neat trick you can do for completing this challenge, whereby you don't have to find the treasure map in Salty Springs to be able to find the actual treasure location elsewhere on the Battle Royale map. For a full walkthrough of where to find the final location of the treasure, head over to our Fortnite Salty Springs Treasure Map guide.
Sniper Rifle Eliminations
Sniper rifles can usually take out opponent in a single hit in Fortnite Battle Royale, especially if you manage to hit a player in the head. You'll want to head to named locations on the Battle Royale map, and try and raid a chest for your best shot at getting hold of a powerful sniper rifle.
Eliminate Opponents in Tilted Towers
Finally, this challenge is one of the more straightforward ones, but don't think it'll be easy. We'd expect many Fortnite players to be landing at Tilted Towers in an attempt to complete this Week 3 Challenge, so keep in mind that this might take you a fair while to complete.
We might be all wrapped up with how to complete the challenges as part of Fortnite Week 3 of Season 4, but there will always be new challenges added in the future. For now, head over to our Fortnite Week 2 Challenges guide for any tasks you might have missed, or our best Fortnite skins page, where we’ll rank the top 15 skins in the entire game.
The upcoming Fortnite Challenges appear to have leaked online slightly ahead of time, and for a complete walkthrough of all the new tasks on offer, check out our Fortnite Week 4 Challenges guide.
