Fire Emblem Three Houses Skill Levels - Which Skills to Advance for Every Student

Here's our guide on the best skills to advance for every student and character in Fire Emblem Three Houses.

Fire Emblem Three Houses is filled to the brim with interesting and colorful characters, and all of them have certain skills that they excel in. In this Fire Emblem Three Houses skill levels guide, we're going to be providing you with all the information you need on the skill levels that every single student in the game excels at.

Fire Emblem Three Houses Skill Levels

In Fire Emblem Three Houses, your students are going to have certain skills that they're naturally gifted in, and those that they struggle to learn. These skill areas include aspects like swords, lances, axes, bows, faith, heavy armor, riding, and more.

As their teacher, it's your job to take advantage of the skills that your students excel at. When you're manually teaching a student during a lesson on a Monday, you'll be able to select which skills you want them to study and advance in for the week. At this point, you'll need to know which skills they excel in, and which skills they're going to struggle to learn.

If a student excels in a skill, they're going to receive a bonus of 150% experience points whenever you tutor them in that skill. So for example, if you opt to spend a point of your time and tutor Claude in swords, he's going to receive an XP bonus because swords are something he naturally excels at. The purpose of teaching in this manner is to raise the skill levels of your students, from E, to D, C, B, A, and eventually S.

As your students progress through skill level ranks, raising to high levels like A and S, they're going to learn new skills that they can then use in battle. So for example, if a student reaches skill level C in axes, they'll be able to use the Helm Splitter move, which is excellent against armored foes.
