
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered - Release Date, Price, Platforms, Maps - Everything We Know
After being only obtainable through Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Modern Warfare Remastered is now getting a standalone release.
After being held back for more expensive editions of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare late last year, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will finally be available as a standalone purchase later this year.
Modern Warfare Remastered was only available through either the Digital Deluxe or the Legacy Edition of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, when the latter game released in November 2016. It marked the first time that a Call of Duty game had been remastered, and this standalone release is also a first in the series.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Release Date and Price
First revealed in the trailer just below, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered will be arriving on PlayStation 4 on June 27, 2017, with the Xbox One and PC versions arriving at a later date. We don't yet know when these latter versions will be launching, but we fully expect them to launch within 2017.
As for the price of this polished version of Modern Warfare, the remaster will retail for $40, but this won't include the Modern Warfare Remastered Variety Map Pack, which will retail separately at $14.99.
To commemorate the re-launch of the classic game, Activision will be hosting a five-week "community celebration" event, offering XP bonuses and in-game rewards.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Maps and DLC
The remastered Modern Warfare will contain 16 Maps, all of which were featured back when the game originally released. On top of this, the aforementioned Modern Warfare Remastered Variety Map Pack will contain the maps Creek, a wide-open village, Broadcast, a communications center with tight corridors, Chinatown, a foggy downtown cityscape, and Killhouse, a tiny warehouse with close quarters combat.
