Ultimate Custom Night Strategies - Freddy, Mr Hippo and Chica

If you’ve played any of the FNAF games before, you’ll know that there are multiple animatronics to tackle, each requiring a separate strategy to beat. We’ve gathered together a few surefire ways to beat the most popular characters in Five Nights at Freddy’s Ultimate Custom Night in the guide below.

Freddy Strategy in Ultimate Custom Night

  • Freddy will wander around the area until he reaches the west Wall. He will then slowly make his way to your office down the hall. Freddy is pretty easy to deal with, you just need to shut the door in his face when he’s near. He gets closer three times before moving into the Office, so just close the door on the last phase and he’ll go away. Be aware that Freddy is agitated by heat and noise.

Mr Hippo Strategy in Ultimate Custom Night

  • Mr Hippo can be extremely tricky to deal with if you’re not careful. He will climb around in the overheated ventilation duct system, and attempt to climb down the hoses that drop into your office. He’s pretty fast, so you will want to get him away from hoses as fast as possible. You can do this by either using the heater to push him away, or use an Audio Lure to keep him in the same spot.

Chica Strategy in Ultimate Custom Night

  • Chica will spend most of her time in the Kitchen, attempting to scare you by crashing around with pots and pans. There’s a music box in the Kitchen which you will have to manage. If the same song is playing for too long, then Chica will grow tired and start coming after you. You will know when she’s unhappy with the music because she will fall silent. Changing music she likes will also send her after you. Just change the music each time she goes silent and you’ll be fine. Note that once Chica leaves the Kitchen she will not go back in.
