2K Games Support Team Swamped With Players Dealing With NBA 2K19 Issues

Stay on the line.

2K Games appears to be getting swamped with support requests for NBA 2K19 as a more than normal number of players are calling in asking for help. And there's apparently a lot they need help with as reports are coming in of missing VC and getting trapped in neverending games.

According reports from sites like Eurogamer and Kotaku, as well as quick searches in Twitter and Reddit, it seems like there are some common issues arising in NBA 2K19. Some players are unable to purchase VC, the in-game currency players can purchase using real money. Less common are instances where players seem to be trapped in a game entirely played by the CPU.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg. Players in MyCareer mode are facing issues where character are randomly deleted, or that free purchases must be paid for. It's a lot and it seems 2K is at least aware of the issues.

"We are receiving more tickets than normal. Rest assured: WE're doing everything we can to get to your case. Thanks!" 2K Support wrote in a tweet from its official help account.

Help might not be coming fast enough as one player tweeted that they've been waiting nearly 2 weeks since they encountered their MyCareer player disappearing.

NBA 2K19's functionality issue seems heavier this time around than in past years, and hopefully every player facing issues will get resolution soon. 2K had some other troubles with NBA 2K19 earlier this year when the company removed certain microtransactions from the title in Belgium and the Netherlands as part of its compliance with local gambling laws.

You can read our NBA 2K19 guide and review here, or if you're facing problems yourself can check out 2K's support page. Hopefully you won't have to wait two weeks for help.
