500 Million Limited Edition PS4 Pro is Available Now in US

A very limited number of the '500 Million' PS4 Pro consoles will be available to buy on August 24.

Remember the 500 Million Limited Edition PS4 Pro Sony revealed a few weeks ago, created to celebrate over 500 million PlayStation console sales? Well, it'll be available to buy in the US tomorrow, but stock won't last for long.

We've rounded up the places you can buy the 500 Million Limited Edition PS4 Pro, just below. Stock across the world is limited to just 50,000 units, so if you fancy owning one of these you're going to have to act pretty sharpish. For now you can't buy the console from any of these links, but get them bookmarked so you can quickly get one ordered when sales are live.

Remember, you can't place an order for the 500 Million PS4 Pro yet (and the Amazon page isn't even live). The orders for the consoles and the accessories (listed below) will go live on August 24.

If you missed the announcement, the 500 Million Limited Edition PS4 Pro features a translucent dark blue shell and matching DualShock 4 wireless controller, PlayStation Camera, Vertical Stand and mono headset. To my eyes, this is a pretty sweet looking console and one of the prettier limited edition machines released to date. The 500 Million console also comes with a 2TB hard drive. The bundle costs $499.99 USD (MSRP) / $639.99 CAD (MSRP).

To make the consoles even more exclusive, each of the '500 Million' PS4 Pros will feature a commemorative plate on its front, a serial number etched onto it so you can see just how cool you are for being part of a small owners club. Some units will be even more sought after, with a small number coming with serial numbers that signify key dates in PlayStation history (nice touch, Sony!). These numbers/dates include 09995 (U.S. Launch Date of the original PlayStation – September 9th, 1995), 01115 (U.S. launch date of PS4 – November 15, 2013) and 01013 (U.S. launch date of PS VR – October 13, 2016).

Standalone '500 Million' peripherals are also available if you miss out on a console or don't fancy paying $499. The '500 Million' DualShock 4 will be available for $64.99 USD (MSRP) / $74.99 CAD (MSRP). A '500 Million' Gold Wireless Headset with dark blue translucent design and copper detailing will be available for$99.99 USD (MSRP) / $119.99 CAD (MSRP).

If you pre-order '500 Million' PS4 Pro, you'll want some great games too. Check out our list of the best PS4 games to make sure you add the best games to your collection.
