Here's Animal Crossing: New Horizons' Character Creator in Action

You can change your character later on by interacting with a mirror.

There's now just a few weeks to wait until we can finally get our hands on Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Just recently, the Japanese Animal Crossing Twitter account teased a look at the character creator.

You can catch a brief look at the game's character creator just below. The video scans through skin color, hair style and color, eye shape and color, and mouth shape options, all of which you'll be able to put into action in New Horizons.

Further down in the same Twitter thread, the Japanese Animal Crossing account showed details of how you can change your character. In New Horizons, it certainly looks like you'll be able to change your character by simply walking up to and interacting with a mirror in your house (or tent). The small teaser video below shows a character walking up to a mirror and being presented with exactly the same character creation options that they had previously.

So, good news, if you mess up your character at the start of New Horizons, or simply get a bit bored with them, it looks like you can change your character around by using a mirror. Simple!

Animal Crossing: New Horizons launches for the Nintendo Switch on March 20, 2020. It's already been revealed that you'll have access to different activities depending on the seasons, and we now know what Isabelle's up to during New Horizons.
