A new Pokemon Sword and Shield update stream will be airing tomorrow morning, The Pokemon Company International announced today. With one more DLC expansion on the way for Pokemon Sword and Shield, we can expect to hear more news about when and where Trainers are headed next, along with a potential release date.
The Pokemon Company announced the stream in a tweet today. It will air tomorrow morning, Sept. 29, at 6 a.m. PT. You can find the stream embedded below if you want to bookmark it or set a reminder.
While the Pokemon Company hasn't confirmed exactly what this stream will entail, the graphic and the specification of Sword and Shield lend credence to the idea that it will be about the game's expansion pass content. Two pieces of content have already been previously announced: last June's Isle of Armor, and the upcoming Crown Tundra.
We might already know a little bit of what's on the way for the Crown Tundra. Some Pokemon returning to the series, after the Galarian Dex was slimmed down for Sword and Shield, seem to have leaked earlier this year.
There's also the case of the legendary birds, who we saw will be getting Galarian variants at some point. It seems like they'll also be part of the Crown Tundra, if the Pokemon site is anything to go by.
Whatever news comes tomorrow, it'll likely be some more Pokemon Sword and Shield info. It could even be a fast turnaround, much like the Isle of Armor DLC was. Either way, the time seems about right for some more Pokemon to catch and Gym Trainers to demolish.
