A New Vampire: The Masquerade Game Is Bringing The Series To Switch For The First Time

There's no shortage of new Vampire games on the way.

It's the Vampire: The Masquerade renaissance, as another game set in the World of Darkness is coming at the end of 2019. Vampire: The Masquerade - Coteries of New York is coming to PC and Nintendo Switch in Q4 2019, from Serial Cleaner developer Draw Distance.

Coteries of New York aims to present a story centered around the power struggle between two forces, the Camarilla and the Anarchs, set in the nighttime of New York. You'll be able to choose a character from one of several Clans, each offering different options ranging from dialogue to ethical approaches. This all can change what ending you see, reflective of your choices and actions within the game.

Besides the main story, you'll be able to form your own coteries, build up relationships, and explore. Developing multiple endings puts emphasis on multiple playthroughs, as each one adds new quests and scenes depending on your choice of Clan.

While this is Vampire: The Masquerade's first outing on the Switch, it's one of several recently announced games in the setting. Paradox announced its sequel to the cult classic, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2, once again dropping you into the shoes of a new vampire amidst the political chaos of the Masquerade. The Council developer Big Bad Wolf is also working on its own Vampire: The Masquerade role-playing game, hopefully with some of its awesome dialogue-combat mechanics. If you're a Vampire: The Masquerade fan, the next year seems to promise a bounty of new games for you.
