The 2020 Grammys Featured a Surprise Nintendo Switch on Stage

Turns out Jasper Dolphin was playing Pokemon.

When Tyler, the Creator won "Best Rap Album" at the 2020 Grammy Awards yesterday, another guest made it onstage with him to collect the award. Pictured alongside Tyler accepting his award was Jasper Dolphin, holding a Nintendo Switch.

As Tyler, the Creator won the award at the 2020 Grammys for his album Igor, he was followed onstage by Davon Wilson, also known as Jasper Dolphin, while making his acceptance speech. You can't immediately see the Nintendo Switch onstage in Jasper's hand. But the Switch subreddit picked up on the handheld pretty soon, as you can just see the red Joy-Con poking out of Jasper's hand. He must have chosen the red and blue Joy-Con combo, the correct choice.

Turns out the former Odd Future member was actually playing Pokemon. But was he playing Pokemon Sword, Pokemon Shield, or one of the Let's Go games? And if he was playing Sword or Shield, which Pokemon did he pick as his starter? Some questions are destined to be forever unanswered.

Maybe the Grammys were just that dull that Jasper Dolphin needed to be entertained during the ceremony. But seriously Jasper, if you're reading this, could we recommend any other Switch games from, say, our best Nintendo Switch games list? It's up to date with all the latest and greatest Switch games, trust us.
