A Nintendo Switch Summer Nindies Showcase is Coming Next Week

It’ll show off “multiple unannounced indie games”.

Nintendo has revealed that there is a Summer Nindies showcase set to air next week. It comes hot on the heels of the last indies presentation, which aired just this week, and is set to reveal "multiple unannounced indie games coming to Nintendo Switch".

The news comes fresh from the Nintendo of America Twitter account, which revealed the exact timings for the livestream. It'll take place on August 28, at 9 a.m. PT. You'll be able to watch it live via the video embedded below .

As to what will be shown, well that's anyone's guess. The showcase that aired earlier this week showed off a whopping 15 titles, many of which were unannounced Nintendo switch titles. Some of the games announced were Everspace, Terraria, Windjammers 2 and This War of Mine. What is safe to say is that Nintendo is continuing to double down on indies, offering plenty for players to enjoy over the summer before its first party lineup for the tail end of 2018 starts rolling out.

We'll be sure to bring you all of the news from the event as it happens next week. In the meantime, sound off in the comments with your Nintendo Switch indie wishlists.
