Action-RPG Dragon Ball Fusions is Heading to the US on December 13th

3DS owners will be able to jump into some sick anime battles just in time for Christmas.

Dragon Ball certainly has a lot of life left in it for a series that ostensibly ended 20 years ago. (Not counting the spin-offs, revivals, and other projects that put creator Akira Toriyama in a solid gold house ages ago.)

If you're still a Dragon Ball fan all these years later, you'll be happy to know Bandai-Namco will be bringing their recent action-RPG Dragon Ball Fusions to the States on December 13th. While most Dragon Ball games take the form of your standard fighter—for good reason—Fusions looks to be a bit more ambitious with its RPG approach. Of course, it's developed by Ganbarion, which has essentially made nothing but licensed anime games for its 17 years of existence, so you probably shouldn't expect anything on the level of Dragon Quest of Final Fantasy. Even so, the recently released trailer shows off some pretty cool features.

Look for Dragon Ball Fusions when it launches on December 13th, exclusively for the 3DS. And while that seems pretty late for a fall release, Bandai-Namco is at the very least giving you an opportunity to finish the several huge RPGs launching for the 3DS before Fusions.
