We Still Don't Have an Alien: Isolation Sequel, But You Can Play the Original on Xbox Game Pass This Month

Check out one of the best sci-fi horror games ever.

Xbox Game Pass continues to grow with the addition of several new titles in February. One of the new games on Xbox's subscription service is Alien: Isolation, an absolute banger of an alien game, and one of the scariest sci-fi games in recent years.

Alien: Isolation was developed by Creative Assembly in 2014. It stars Amanda Ripley, the daughter of original Alien film protagonist Ellen Ripley. Amanda ventures off into space to try and find out what happened to her mother, only to encounter a Xenomorph similar to the one her mother encountered. Talk about bad luck.

Since its release five years ago, fans have been crying out for another Alien: Isolation game. But to date, all we've received is a mobile game. Maybe we'll get a sequel if enough people try Alien: Isolation on Game Pass? In any case, if you haven't played it yet, you should.

Aside from the previously announced Batman: Return to Arkham and Crackdown 3, Xbox Game Pass is getting a few more titles before the end of February. Headlander and Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two will be coming to the service on February 21, and The Walking Dead: Season 2 and Alien: Isolation are coming on February 28.

Xbox Game Pass is Microsoft's Netflix-style subscription service where for a monthly fee of $9.99, players can gain access to a library of free games to download onto their Xbox One consoles. Microsoft has ambitious plans for Game Pass, including expanding it to other devices like PCs. Check out our full list of Xbox Game Pass games here.
