Amazon Prime Day Start Leaked, Lasts 36 Hours

The start date for mega savings on Amazon Prime Day looks to have leaked.

The start date for the prolific Amazon Prime Day appears to have leaked slightly ahead of schedule. As PC Gamer reported earlier today, a stray banner for the event appears to have leaked the start date of the mega savings event.

"Starts at noon, 16 July. An epic day (and a half) of our best deals", stated the banner that leaked the start date of Amazon Prime Day. All in all, the event will run for right around 36 hours in total, offering some huge savings on a variety of products from the retailer.

The start date of Amazon Prime Day could have been moved back slightly this year, because of the World Cup 2018 wrapping up on July 15. In past years, Amazon Prime Day has taken place slightly earlier in July, but it makes sense that Amazon has pushed the event back a few days to let it miss the World Cup Final.

If you need a complete guide to the entire event, including all the tech and household deals that you should be keeping an eye out for, make sure to head over to our Amazon Prime Day 2018 guide.
