Animal Crossing for Nintendo Switch Coming in 2019

Nintendo announced a new Animal Crossing game for the Nintendo Switch is currently in development and readying itself for a 2019 release.

In today's Nintendo Direct, Animal Crossing mogul Tom Nook appeared after it was announced that Isabelle would be joining Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. To prepare the many Animal Crossing characters away in Smash, Nook said he should start working on a home for them to return to, before a title for Animal Crossing 2019 appeared.

Animal Crossing on Switch has been one of the most-requested games and it looks like we'll finally get our dream next year. For more check out our recap of today's Nintendo Direct.
