If you run into trouble while exploring in Animal Crossing New Horizons you may need to craft some medicine. Here's how to do so.
If you get attacked by any creatures in Animal Crossing New Horizons you'll need to cure yourself with Medicine. The recipe for Medicine isn't available at the start, and you'll need to trigger an event to get it. We'll cover how to get medicine, how to take it, and what you'll need to craft it, right here in this guide.

How to Get Medicine DIY Recipe
To get the Medicine Recipe in Animal Crossing New Horizons you'll need to speak to a fellow islander after being stung or attacked. We spoke to one of the two characters who moved to the island with you initially (more on islanders here). The dialogue below will trigger, giving you the recipe.

How to Craft Medicine
In order to craft Medicine, you'll need the DIY Recipe card and the following materials:
- Clump of Weeds (3)
- Wasp Nest (1)
You can find weeds littered around the island, just press Y to pick them up. You'll get wasp nests from shaking trees. Once you have these materials head to DIY bench and craft the Medicine.

How to Take Medicine
To take the Medicine you have crafted, open your pocket inventory by pressing X. Scroll to the Medicine, select it with A and then choose to take it. This will clear up whatever ailment currently affecting your character. For more info on what Stings can do to you, head here.
