There are many buildings you can have on your island in Animal Crossing New Horizons, including fan favorite The Able Sisters tailor shop. How to Get The Able Sisters Tailor Shop

To unlock The Able Sisters Shop you'll need to spend 5,000 Bells in Mabel's pop-up shop. You'll need to have completed the Museum, and Nook's Cranny projects (you'll speak to her first after building these). Later, she'll appear at a stall outside, speak to her, and start buying things. This is the point at which we were able to unlock the tailor shop. You won't need to donate any materials, as they will be using some leftover from your construction of Nook's Cranny. Speak to Mabel (she's the Sonic-looking lady who runs the clothing stand) and she will note that you've made the island a lot busier. She will give you a construction kit.

How Long Does the Tailor Shop Take to Build

Once you've laid down some space for The Able Sisters tailor shop to be built, you won't have to wait for very long. It'll be built in 48 hours, meaning you can make full use of its selection.

What Can You Buy at The Able Sisters?

The Able Sisters is a tailor, stocking an expanded collection of fashion items. Much like the general store (more on that here), The Able Sisters will have a regularly rotating selection of stock, as well as a catalogue to shop from. It's worth visiting every day, as there will be cool new clothing items to check out.

How to Unlock Sabel's Patterns

You can unlock additional patterns by speaking to Sabel. She will be shy at first but after a few days of speaking to her she will open up. She'll give you access to a wide range of patterns, which can be used in your Custom Designs app.

Can You Upgrade Able Sisters?

It's possible to upgrade some of the buildings in Animal Crossing New Horizons. This is not the case with The Able Sisters, at least for now. It's possible and even likely that The Able Sisters will get an upgrade in the future, we'll update this page once we hear more.

That's all you need to know about The Able Sisters. For more on Animal Crossing New Horizons be sure to check out Caty's review. Elsewhere, there's Hirun's writeup of how cloud saving works.
