Yesterday, there was a unique new game published on Itch.io. This new project by Bubble Wand Games allows people to customize and create their dream Animal Crossing: New Horizons island, all within their browser.
'Island Planner' is the name of the game, if you're looking to give it a go for yourself. It's available now through Itch.io's storefront, and is entirely free to play.

I actually played around with it myself this morning. You're given the most basic of desert islands, without even a river or any inclines, so you can go to work designing your perfect New Horizons island from the ground up.
Island Planner gives you all the tools you need to build your island in your vision. There's objects to represent Resident Services, Blathers' Museum, Nook's Cranny, and Able Sisters' shop, as well as individual houses for each of your potential residents.
It's a neat little game if you're struggling to envision just where you want everything to go in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. I know this is something I've struggled with a lot so far, just placing shops and houses sporadically all over my island so the layout barely makes any practical sense.
Don't forget, today's the last day you can take part in the May Day festivities in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Caty had a venture out to Tom Nook's mysterious maze island, and came away pretty impressed by its simple puzzle aspects.
