How to Change Your Roof Color

To change your roof color in Animal Crossing new Horizons, you'll need to add extensions to your house. You can do this by speaking to Tom Nook and asking 'about my home'. Once you commission a new extension, Tom Nook will ask if you want to change your roof color. This will be the best way to do this early on.

Changing Your Roof Color Later On in the Game

  1. About my home
  2. I want to customize
  3. Select roof color

How Much Does it Cost to Change Your Roof Color?

If you change your roof color while buying an extension, you won't have to pay anything extra. If you go to Tom Nook to change things, it'll cost you 5000 Bells to swap out your roof color. For more on earning Bells, head here.
