Animal Crossing New Horizons: Where to Get Tree Branches

Tree Branches are extremely important for crafting in Animal Crossing New Horizons. Here's where to find them.

To get ahead in Animal Crossing New Horizons you'll need to gather Tree Branches. In fact, this will be one of the first activities you'll be given by Tom Nook, so you'll need to know where to get them and how to pick them up. We've included all of the info you'll need in this guide. Let's get started!

On this page:

Where to Get Tree Branches

How to Get Tree Branches Fast

Another way to procure Tree Branches is to shake trees. To do so, approach a tree and hold A. Some trees will drop Tree Branches after you've shaken them. Be aware that shaking trees can dislodge wasp nests, the inhabitants of which are likely to sting. If you run into this issue then head to this guide on how to deal with wasps.

What Are Tree Branches Used For?

Tree Branches are especially useful during the opening hours of Animal Crossing New Horizons. You need them to make a fishing rod, and to help Tom Nook build a campfire. Make sure you're collecting as many as you can each day, as you'll likely need them for crafting.
