Animal Crossing Nintendo Direct Set for February 20

Animal Crossing Nintendo Direct Set for February 20

Taking us to new horizons.

It was always bound to arrive sooner or later. Nintendo has scheduled a new Nintendo Direct for later this week, focusing exclusively on Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

The Direct itself will be taking place on Thursday, February 20. It'll be kicking off at 6am PT / 9am ET and lasting for right around 25 minutes.

With right around a month to go until Animal Crossing: New Horizons finally launches, there's plenty to delve into. We know we're going to a remote island courtesy of Tom Nook, but which furry friends could we be meeting there?

Animal Crossing: New Horizons releases on March 20, 2020. Although the Coronavirus is slated to cause Switch shortages in the US as early as April, the special Animal Crossing Switch bundle shouldn't be affected by the shortages when it releases alongside the game.

Hirun Cryer

Staff Writer

Hirun Cryer is by far the most juvenile member of USgamer. He's so juvenile, that this is his first full-time job in the industry, unlike literally every other person featured on this page. He's written for The Guardian, Paste Magazine, and Kotaku, and he likes waking up when the sun rises and roaming the nearby woods with the bears and the wolves.
