Tournament organizers announce the games headlining Evo Japan.
Organizers have announced the games that will be headlining at Evo Japan 2018, the first Japanese version of the classic EVO Championship Series. After years in Las Vegas, Evo comes to the home of fighting games for the first time. Evo Japan 2018 will take place at Akihabara UDX in Tokyo, Japan on January 26-28, 2018.
The seven titles that will be headlining Evo Japan will be:
- Street Fighter V
- ARMS
- Super Smash Bros for Wii U
- BlazBlue Central Fiction
- King of Fighters XIV
- Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2
- Tekken 7
That's the EVO 2017 roster minus the Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, Injustice 2, and Super Smash Bros Melee, with the inclusion of ARMS for the Nintendo Switch for the first time at Evo. There are currently no side tournaments or additional events set up for Evo Japan 2018 yet.
