Two weeks after the addition of new fighter Misango, Arms is back with another new update and another new fighter. This time, the new character is Springtron, who appeared way back in patch 3.2. Players who happened to clear the Grand Prix mode in a perfect run could take a shot at Springtron.
Now the robotic fighter is fully playable. Springtron joins Max Brass, Lola Pop, and Misango as the additional fighters for the retail version of Arms. Springtron shares his Arms with Spring Man; when Spring Man unlocks Arms, they can be used by Springtron as well. This is unique, as the other characters received all-new Arms when they launched.
The full patch notes show a few adjustments to some of the existing fighters and Arms. It adds new badges that are unlocked when you use certain fighter/ARM combinations and fulfill specific conditions on stages with environmental gimmicks. There's even support for traditional and simplified Chinese if you've been waiting for it.
