Assassin's Creed Creator Shows Off New Game, Ancestors: A Human Odyssey, at Game Awards

The evolution is here.

Patrice Désilets, the French Canadian game designer best known for creating the Assassin's Creed series, showed off more of his next original game, Ancestors: A Human Kind Odyssey.

Taking place in the dawn of human civilization, players will play through the course of human civilization, surviving primordial jungles and ancient natural wildlife. As players progress, they will evolve into later stages of the human race.

We profiled Désilets and spoke with him at-length about his work creating the Assassin's Creed series and his work on the Prince of Persia series for Ubisoft. We also covered the origins of Ancestors and the initial pitch of Désilets' new project.
