Ubisoft has detailed the next upcoming patch for Assassin's Creed Origins, which launches today on PlayStation 4. The Xbox One version of the patch will be dropping on November 20, while the PC release has yet to be determined.
The patch offers general fixes aimed at "improved performance and stability". The patch alludes to potential fixes for some level of detail and texture issues that popped up in previous patches. Enemy difficulty on Hard Mode has also been beefed up.
Most importantly, Bayek hair will remain in your chosen state. As I wrote previously, you can toggle Bayek's hair at anytime in-game, giving him back his full head of natural hair and scruffy beard. The issue was that fast travel and cutscenes would override your choices, resetting Bayek to his default look again. Now, the game will remember the look of your Bayek.
Ubisoft also added keyboard and mouse controls for the hair toggle. SHIFT + Z toggles Bayek's hair, CTRL + Z toggles his beard. No longer do keyboard and mouse players have to live without options!
