Assassin's Creed Origins November Update Lets You Fight The Gods (And Adds HDR)

Plus Bayek gets some sweet new outfits.

Assassin's Creed Origins just launched, but Ubisoft is already in the swing of things, offering a few updates to the game this month. First up, there will be a title update coming in time for the Xbox One X launch, offering improved stability and additional support for HDR on all platforms. The game will also see the addition of the Trial of the Gods mode, allowing players to fight the Egyptian gods themselves for sweet loot. Starting November 7, players can take on the first god, Anubis.

Ubisoft will also be adding new costumes to the game. These additional outfits will be available via the Heka Chests in the Nomad Bazaar or the Helix Store. You should be able to get them randomly as Daily Quest rewards as well, given that current store items like the Mummy outfit can be acquired that way.

The first set will be the Nightmare Pack, coming November 14, which offers four new weapons and a burning skeleton horse mount. Then there's the First Civilization Pack on November 28, which also includes four new weapons and a mount.

There will be themed bundles coming to the game store, featuring a new outfit, a mount, and themed gear. On November 7, players can pick up the Roman Centurion Pack, and on November 21, there will be the god-themed Horus Pack.

Mostly, I just want that burning horse.

Third-person action-adventure games are his personal poison: Uncharted, Infamous, and Assassin's Creed just to name a few. If you see him around a convention, he's not hard to spot: Black guy, glasses, and a tie.
