Assassin's Creed Rogue Remaster Heading to PS4 and Xbox One

Assassin's Creed Rogue Remaster Heading to PS4 and Xbox One

We're going back to pirate ships.

Assassin's Creed Rogue is getting a HD remaster. The 2014 entry into Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed series, which served as a sequel to Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, will be available again on March 20.

Assassin's Creed Rogue might be best known as the last in the series to come out on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. While Rogue took place following the events of Assassin's Creed Black Flag, the game featured a brand new protagonist, Shay Patrick Cormac, and tied into the events of 2014's Assassin's Creed Unity.

Ubisoft Sofia, the company's Bulgarian studio, will be taking point on the remaster (they also developed the original game). The new version of Rogue will feature 4K graphics on the PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X, or 1080p resolution on the standard PS4 and Xbox One.

The remaster will also feature all the DLC content from the original game and even some new content including Bayek's legacy outfit from Assassin's Creed Origins.

Assassin's Creed Rogue Remastered will be out on March 20 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
