Astaroth and Seong Mi-Na Announced for Soul Calibur 6 at EVO 2018

Two new characters announced for SoulCalibur 6.

Bandai Namco took the stage at EVO 2018 to reveal two new characters for the upcoming Soul Calibur 6. The goliath golem Astaroth and Korean staff blade wielder Seong Mi-Na are both slated to be in the roster for Soul Calibur 6. You can check out the new reveal trailer for both characters below.

Soul Calibur 6 producer Motohiro Okubo took the stage before the Tekken 7 finals at EVO 2018 to announce the two new characters. Okubo didn't actually name the new characters, instead premiering two brand new character trailers to drum up excitement.

Astaroth, an immortal golem who wield a giant axe, is looking particularly warrior-ish with his new design. He's sporting some new shoulder spikes, a barbarian -esque waist cloth, and his signature big axe.

Seong Mi-Na is sporting a pink, hanbok-inspired outfit for her new design. She also shows off a new special move which spins her opponent around like a tornado before striking them with some lightning. As a Seong Mi-Na main, this character reveal is particularly exciting.

Soul Calibur 6 is the newest game in the long-running SoulCalibur series. Bandai Namco has already announced returning characters like Nightmare, Ivy, Taki, Voldo, alongside new characters like Groh. Geralt from The Witcher series was announced as Soul Calibur 6's guest character.

You can find the full roster and more news over at our Soul Calibur 6 guide. SoulCalibur 6 is coming out on October 19 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
