Atlus Survey Asks Fans If They Want Persona 6 On Switch, or Even Persona Online

What do you want from Atlus in the future?

It's that time of year again for Atlus' customer survey. Atlus releases one every year, and while the western version of the survey deals mostly with localization, the Japanese survey goes more in-depth and deals with development. For example, this year Atlus is asking some pretty big questions about the future of the Persona series, and whether gamers would like to see Persona 6 on the Switch.

Atlus is asking fans questions about how they'd like to experience future Atlus titles, whether it be on PS4, PS VR, Switch, PC, mobile, or "other." This question pertains to all of Atlus' series like Shin Megami Tensei, Persona, Catherine, and Etrian Odyssey.

Likewise, when it comes to the future of the Persona series, Atlus is asking fans if they'd like a Persona action-RPG, board game, action-adventure title, Persona 5 fighting game, Persona online RPG, Persona turn-based RPG, Persona visual novel, or Persona 6.

Like Atlus' other series, the company asked fans what console they'd like to see the next Persona game on, regardless of what shape or form that new Persona might take. And there are a lot of options indeed (a Persona MMO, seriously?).

The survey finally asks fans about whether they'd like to see remasters of older games, new spinoffs, or new IP from any of Atlus' studios and partners. These include games from the Shin Megami Tensei team, P-Studio, Vanillaware, or Studio Zero (which is developing a new fantasy RPG).

It's an in-depth survey, but is by no means a confirmation of any future intent or projects. And while survey results won't be released, it's a chance for fans to share with the company what they'd like to see in the future. And wherever Atlus goes next, it'll hopefully incorporate the findings from its survey.
