The award-winning soundtrack for 2016's Doom is finally going to be available on physical media including CD and vinyl. The much-beloved soundtrack will be receiving four different editions so fans can rip and tear to Mick Gordon's soundtrack however they please.
The soundtrack was cut at the famous Abbey Road Studios and will be available in the following formats: Deluxe Double CD, Double Vinyl with 20 curated tracks, Special Edition Four-disc Vinyl, and a Vinyl Box Set. The Box Set is pressed and the Double Vinyl are pressed on 180g blood red vinyl, but also includes the Deluxe Double CD and a custom turntable slipmat.
While we don't know which 20 tracks will be available in the Double Vinyl set, the full 4 Vinyl sets will include all 31 tracks on the official Doom soundtrack that you can listen to now on various music streaming services.
The soundtrack is result of a partnership between Bethesda Softworks and Laced Records and will be available this summer. The soundtrack is available for pre-order now and we'll have a link for you at the bottom of the article. You should know that the Special Limited Edition X4LP Box Set is only available during a 14-day window that starts today and ends May 2, 2018.
Doom was easily one of the best first-person shooters in 2016 and the soundtrack was rightly praised for delivering an exhilarating heavy metal experience to hell on Mars.
