Axe of the Blood E3 2019 Reaction Pod: Final Fantasy 7 Remake Hype, Keanu Reeves in Cyberpunk, and More!

Nadia and Kat react to all the biggest RPG news for E3 2019!

The moment has finally arrived: Final Fantasy 7 Remake has a release date, and oh man does it look awesome [download link here]!

In the immediate aftermath of Square Enix's E3 2019 Press Conference (we seriously jumped on the mics as soon as it was done), Nadia and I react to everything we saw, including the Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Final Fantasy 8 getting remastered, the weirdly flat Avengers reveal, and more. Suffice it to say, we're really excited about Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Like, really excited.

And that's not all! There was quite a bit of other RPG coverage at the other conferences as well. Nadia and I talk Microsoft's disappointing next-gen announcement, Cyberpunk 2077 stealing the show with Keanu Reeves, and Fallout 76's slow revival. And there's plenty more E3 2019 coverage besides that. Check it out!

Show Description

We got a deeper look at Final Fantasy 7 Remake at E3 2019, and Kat and Nadia are hyped. They react to the updated battle system and talk about all the ways that it successfully captures the spirit of the original. Plus, they talk about Microsoft's lackluster showing, Cyberpunk's surprise Keanu Reeves reveal, and all the rest of the big RPG news from the show!
