Axe of the Blood God: 5 Games Like Diablo 2 That You Should Play

Celebrating Diablo 2's 20th anniversary, why Pokemon Diamond and Pearl don't need a remake, and more.

In this week's episode of the Axe of the Blood God, we celebrate Diablo 2's 20th anniversary by talking about its illustrious descendants, and which ones you should play [download link here]!

Diablo was the genesis of one of today's most important RPG subgenres—the point-and-click dungeon crawler—and its sequel is still beloved to this day. Nadia and I talk about why it's so important, and also pick some of the spiritual successors that are worth playing, from Grim Dawn to Torchlight.

Also in this episode, Nadia and I discuss why there shouldn't be a Pokemon Diamond and Pearl remake; share Cyberpunk 2077 impressions, and talk about the new round of sexual harassment allegations in the games industry.
