Axe of the Blood God Episode 30: Tales of Zestiria and Dragon Quest Heroes! Plus: A Giveaway!

Kat, Mike, and Bob discuss Tales of Zestiria, Dragon Quest Heroes, and Yo-Kai Watch, with bonus details on a giveaway for next week.

Axe of the Blood God is our weekly RPG podcast hosted by Kat Bailey. You can find the show notes for previous episodes here.

In this week's episode of Axe of the Blood God (download link here), I'm joined by Mike to discuss Tales of Zestiria, which marks his first foray into the long-running series. Then Bob drops by to discuss whether Dragon Quest Heroes measures up to the rest of the franchise, with some side discussion of Yo-Kai Watch along the way.

If you want spoilers on our conversations, you can check out our reviews of Tales of Zesitira and Dragon Quest Heroes respectively. Mike and I generally enjoyed then! As for Yo-kai Watch... Well, listen to the episode. Either that, or keep an eye out for my preview later today.

Final note: I'm running a giveaway this week! I've got a copy of the Dragon Quest Heroes Slime Collector's Edition that I'd like to give away on the pod. If you want a chance to win, send a message to my USG username Kat.Bailey or email me at I'll read my favorite one on the air next week, and that person will get the game. No specific topic outside of the fact that it should be about RPGs! I just want your best thoughts, stories, analysis, and questions. Have at it!
