Axe of the Blood God Episode 31: Sword Coast Legends, Divinity, and a Mailbag Giveaway Winner!

Jason Wilson drops by to discuss a bunch of new RPGs, then we answer some mailbag questions and announce our winner!

Axe of the Blood God is our weekly RPG podcast hosted by Kat Bailey. You can find the show notes for previous episodes here.

In this week's episode of Axe of the Blood God (download link here), GamesBeat's Jason Wilson drops by to discuss a couple recently released RPGs, after which we read mailbag questions and announce the winner of our Dragon Quest Slime Collector's Edition giveaway!

We open with a discussion of Sword Coast Legends, a game that Jason seems to like more than I do. Don't get me wrong, it's okay, but it has some rough competition in the isometric RPG space and the nifty GM tools only barely overcome the middling graphics and scenario design. More exciting is Divinity: Original Sin, which is now available on console. If you missed it the first time, you should definitely check it out because it's a pretty cool (not to mention beautiful) RPG. We finish up with a few questions from mailbag, including which RPG designer we would interview if we could, and the importance of art versus system design.

On a sidenote, we're now available on Stitcher! Please do me a favor and review us there so we can get more exposure.
