Axe of the Blood God on Oninaki and the Dragon Quest 11 Switch Demo

Axe of the Blood God on Oninaki and the Dragon Quest 11 Switch Demo

Plus, it's time for a mailbag!

Tokyo RPG Factory's latest is now available on Switch. Is Oninaki the game that helps them finally break through [download link here]?

The long and the short of it is... no. But Oninaki is at least an improvement on I Am Setsuna, which is to that it's not entirely derivative. More exciting to the Dragon Quest 11 demo on Switch, which is already shaping up to be the definitive edition. Exciting!

After that, we dip into the mailbag, where we ramble about how RPGs handle tragedy, talk about a rare SSI Gold Box game on Sega Genesis, and talk about where Final Fantasy 10 ranks among Final Fantasy games (not very highly, actually). I also talk about why I don't like shooters. Apologies to the legion of Call of Duty fans who listen to this show.
