Axe of the Blood God: Our Stormblood Review, Breath of the Wild DLC, and More

PODCAST | Does Final Fantasy XIV's expansion push it forward? The Blood God has a verdict!

Axe of the Blood God is our weekly RPG podcast hosted by Kat Bailey and Nadia Oxford. You can find the previous episodes here.

In this week's episode of Axe of the Blood God (download link here), we review Final Fantasy XIV's latest expansion, talk about Breath of the Wild's DLC, and more!

Final Fantasy XIV is an interesting cause of an online game gaining traction outside of the traditional MMORPG audience. Yes, you still have people who are in it for the raids, the loot, and all the rest, but there are plenty of others who just like being in the Final Fantasy universe. Stormblood is for them, and we talk about the ways in which it succeeds and the ways in which it still has room to grow.

We also talk a little bit about Falcom's remarkable longevity, their shift to the PlayStation 4, and where consoles stand in Japan. And of course, we have some Breath of the Wild chatter, too!
