Axe of the Blood God: We Talk Paper Mario, Ghost of Tsushima, and Xenoblade Chronicles

Our RPG podcast recaps some of the big news events of the past week, and shares initial Xenoblade Chronicles impressions.

Paper Mario, Ghost of Tsushima, and PS5 were all in the headlines this week, and Nadia and Kat discuss them all, with a healthy dose of Xenoblade Chronicles impressions for good measure [download link here].

In particular, Nadia and I put the Unreal Engine 5 demo into context for RPG fans, and discuss what it might entail for next-gen roleplaying. We also talk about whether the Switch needs an upgrade to keep up, and share some of our thoughts on Ghost of Tsushima's "RPG elements."

Our second segment focuses on my Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition impressions, in which I talk about how it still has some rough edges. Is it really as good as its reputation suggests? Nadia and I debate! And of course, the Track of the Week returns as an ongoing segment!
