Axe of the Blood God: Top 25 RPG Honorable Mentions, The Outer Worlds, and More

AXE OF THE BLOOD GOD | Our RPG podcast dives into the excellent RPGs that didn't quite make the cut.

With the Top 25 RPG countdown now complete, it's time to celebrate some of the amazing games that ultimately didn't make the cut, and to also talk about some of this week's massive RPG-related news [download link here].

Kotaku's big Anthem report dropped this week, providing a great deal of insight into what currently ails BioWare. Kat and Nadia discuss the news, then recap PAX East 2019, where they laud The Outer Worlds, SteamWorld Quest, and Dragon Quest Builders 2. Then it's on to the Top 25 RPG Countdown Honorable Mentions, in which Kat and Nadia talk about Ultima Underworld, Undertale, Final Fantasy Tactics, Dark Souls, and more!

Want to join in the conversation? Leave a comment and we may read it on the show! And don't forget to subscribe to the Newsletter of the Blood God for weekly thoughts on the world of RPGs.
