First gameplay for Babylon's Fall was shown during this morning's Sony State of Play stream, and it's looking like... well.. it sure looks like a Platinum game, doesn't it?
Shots from Square Enix's new collaboration with Square Enix featured brief images of an unnamed character battling a giant armor beast; big ol' sword parries, and flying swords. It all has a bit of a "futuristic medieval" vibe to it, and moves at the typically frenetic pace of a Plattinum action game. You can watch the trailer below.
Babylon's Fall was first announced back at E3 2018, but has hasn't been seen much since. It follows on from Sony's last collaboration with PlatinumGames—the highly successful Nier: Automata. It's doubtful that Babylon's Fall will be as mind-bending as Nier: Automata, but then again, you never know.
Square Enix is promising more information "next summer." We'll be sure to look forward to it.
