Battlefield 1 to Get 4K Support on Xbox One X Soon

Coming in the Summer Update.

Battlefield 5 might be on the horizon, but EA isn't done with past Battlefield games just yet. Announced today as part of the upcoming "Summer Update", Battlefield 1 will be getting 4K support on the Xbox One X.

You can see the global times for the Battlefield 1 Summer Update livestream just below, which EA announced today on July 30. The Summer Update will presumably be dated during the livestream.

As for what else the Summer Update could contain, you'll have to tune in to the Battlefield 1 Summer Update livestream tomorrow, on July 31, on the official Battlefield Twitch channel. We only know that the game on Xbox One X will be getting an update to support 4K. We can probably expect more tie in events to earn gear for when Battlefield 5 launches later this year.

For everything else you could possibly need on EA and DICE's upcoming World War 2 shooter, including how you can play the game early through EA Access and more, head over to our Battlefield 5 everything we know guide.

He's written for The Guardian, Paste Magazine, and Kotaku, and he likes waking up when the sun rises and roaming the nearby woods with the bears and the wolves.
