Bayek is Now an Unlockable Character in Assassin's Creed Odyssey

Bayek jumps into battle.

Bayek, the star of Assassin's Creed Origins, is available now as an unlockable character in Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

To unlock the Egyptian hero players will need to log into the Ubisoft Club app. You'll then be able to recruit Bayek as a legendary lieutenant in the game where he will serve on your ship and assist you in battle. Bayek is the second previous Assassins from the Assassin's Creed series to join Odyssey alongside Evie Frye from Assassin's Creed Syndicate.

You won't be able to play as Bayek or Evie but they'll serve alongside you in combat. And while Bayek doesn't seem too out of place, it's still weird that a Victorian England gangster is in ancient Greece.

Legendary mercenary and ship bounties have also been added with the most recent update after a slight delay due to technical issues. Pick up the new bounty for The Black Wind ship and you'll be able to hunt it down in the open seas and earn some new ship cosmetics and Orichalcum in-game currency.
