Bethesda Adds New Dallas Studio to Help Develop Fallout 76, Elder Scrolls Blades, and Starfield

Escalation Studios is now Bethesda Game Studios Dallas.

Bethesda's Todd Howard came on stage during the keynote at QuakeCon to announce that there's a new Bethesda Game Studio in Dallas, Texas. This is the company's second Texas-based studio after the location in Austin, Texas.

Bethesda Game Studios Dallas was formerly Escalation Studios, a subsidiary of ZeniMax Media and co-developers on different mobile and browser games as well as work on multiplayer modes for games like Team Fortress 2 and Rage.

Bethesda Game Studios Dallas is now working with Bethesda on Fallout 76 and Elder Scrolls Blades, a multiplayer and mobile game respectively so it fits kind of perfectly with the skills of the studio formerly known as Escalation. However, Bethesda Dallas is also helping with Starfield, Bethesda's upcoming sci-fi RPG.
