Good news, bad news for those holding out hope for some Beyond Good & Evil 2 info at this year's E3: you'll get some new details sooner than you thought, but not where you expected it. The Beyond Good & Evil 2 team will be doing a live stream update on June 5, in lieu of attending E3 2019.
In a blog post on the game's website posted yesterday, Ubisoft announced the next "Space Monkey Report" live stream set for 6 p.m. CEST (Paris) time.
The team did, however, reaffirm that it will continue updating fans as they have more to share. "We look forward to sharing more with you, including new gameplay footage, when the time is right," says the blog post.
This is another Ubisoft game on the docket set to be absent from E3, alongside high-seas naval combat game Skull & Bones. In a financial call Ubisoft said it had a few more unannounced titles still coming, so this at least makes some room for those games to shine, away from the anticipation for a new Beyond Good & Evil.
We've learned more about how Beyond Good & Evil 2 will differ from its predecessor over the last year or two. You'll recruit and manage a crew, engage in ship-to-ship combat, and explore a massive open world. You can catch more gameplay in last December's blog post, and we'll undoubtedly learn more in the coming live stream.
