Bleeding Edge Beta Progress Carries Over to the Final Game, Ninja Theory Confirms

All XP earned carries over to the final game.

Bleeding Edge put on another beta session last month in February. In case there was any confusion about whether progress made in the beta will carry over to the final game, Ninja Theory confirms that it absolutely will.

As you can see in the post below from Ninja Theory's Bleeding Edge Twitter account, all progress made in the beta periods for the game will carry over to the final game. As the post on Twitter indicates, this doesn't just include XP for individual fighters, but also character skins and other cosmetics you've earned so far.

The only way you could have accessed the February beta for Bleeding Edge was by pre-ordering the game. Doing this not only got you access to the beta, but also grants you three character skins when the game launches later this month. These are the Punk Rock skin for Nidhoggr, the Butterpunk skin for Buttercup, and the Outrider Zerocool skins, included in the overall 'Punk Pack' for Ninja Theory's game.

Just last month, Kat interviewed several key members of Ninja Theory behind Bleeding Edge. Programmers and artists reflected on their acquisition by Microsoft, doubts about Bleeding Edge, avoiding crunch, and much more.

Bleeding Edge launches in full on March 24. It'll be releasing through Steam and the Microsoft Store on PC, and you can also get access to the game on day one on Xbox through Xbox Game Pass.
