Bleeding Edge Beta Start Time: How to Access the Closed Beta
Bleeding Edge is a first-party competitive action game developed by Ninja Theory. Here’s when you’ll be able to play the beta.
Microsoft recently acquired Ninja Theory, and as a result the multiplayer action game Bleeding Edge will be an Xbox console exclusive. It looks much like what you’d expect from the devs behind Devil May Cry and Hellblade, though it’s certainly interesting to see it branch out into a more competitive space. There’s a chance that you’ll get to play Bleeding Edge early as part of an upcoming closed beta. Here’s how to gain access, and when it will go live.
Bleeding Edge Closed Beta Start Time
You’ll get to play Bleeding Edge early via a closed beta running on February 14. Here’s some info on the exact timing:
- Starts Feb 14: 10 a.m. PT/ 1 p.m. ET
- Ends Feb 17: 12 a.m./ 3 a.m. ET

How to Access the Closed Beta
The Bleeding Edge Beta isn’t open to everyone. Instead, you’ll need to do either of the following to gain access:
- Those who have pre-purchased Bleeding Edge on Steam will find the Closed Beta available to download and install in their game library closer to Feb 14.
- Pre-order Bleeding Edge on Xbox One.
- As an owner of a Game Pass membership, download the Closed Beta.

So Everyone With a Game Pass Membership Can Play?
Bleeding Edge will launch as part of Game Pass day one. Fittingly then, the Closed Beta is also open to everyone with a Game Pass subscription. Just search for the Bleeding Edge Closed Beta on either an Xbox One or PC.

If You Participated In the Technical Alpha You Will Have Access to the Beta
Those of you who participated in the Technical Alpha for Bleeding Edge will also have access to the Closed Beta. If you played on Steam you will be sent an invite via email. If you played on Windows 10 or Xbox One you will find the Bleeding Edge Closed Beta application available to download and install from the Microsoft Store or your games & apps library.
