Blizzard Wants Intern For New Project With Knowledge of Overwatch

Is it a new Overwatch title, or something else?

A new job posting on Blizzard's official Careers site have some wondering if Overwatch is getting some sort of spinoff. The posting is for an internship at Blizzard, seeking students to help with a new project at the company. The intern is supposed to be art related.

"An unannounced project at Blizzard is seeking an intern to help create a wide range of assets to help bring our game to life. You will work closely with our concept, environment and character teams to create hard surface and organic props, weapons and possibly characters that are both detail-oriented and consistent with the art style we've defined," says the posting.

The relevant sections of the job posting.

It goes further to recommend that applicants have "knowledge and understanding of the Overwatch universe". Now, this could be anything. An addition to the base game like a single-player campaign, a spin-off, Overwatch companion app, mobile title, or something else. We're not quite ready to say Blizzard is planning an all-new, full spec Overwatch title yet. Fingers crossed that they are though!

The real news is Blizzard refers to job requirements as Quest Objectives. That's either super cute or super weird.
