BlizzCon Layout Offers More Evidence of a Possible Diablo 4 Reveal

Do you smell sulfur?

Diablo is going to have a big presence at BlizzCon this year. We know this because the schedule for this year revealed Diablo will be taking center stage this year in the big "What's Next" panel. However, the new map layout also shows Diablo headlining the main Mythic Stage.

As BlizzCon approaches we're getting a better sense of the event. The schedule for BlizzCon online shows that following the opening ceremonies the Diablo: What's Next panel will commence. That's usually when the big announcement is made, but of course that's not an official confirmation.

The showfloor map also shows some Diablo-ness as the hellish dungeon crawler takes center (Mythic) stage. Compare that to last year when Diablo 3 only had a demo kiosk. There's also a mysterious blank space on the showfloor map next to the Diablo 3 portion which could be reserved for some new Diablo announcement?

The big rumor is that either Diablo 4 or a new Diablo expansion will be announced at BlizzCon, but so far it's just speculation. However, with the schedule announcement for a new Diablo-focused panel, a big portion of the main stage, and the launch of Diablo 3: Eternal Collection on Switch makes this year's BlizzCon a big Diablo shindig.
