Bungie Unlocks Destiny 2's Bergusia Forge For All, Caving on the Niobe Labs Puzzle

Bungie Unlocks Destiny 2's Bergusia Forge For All, Caving on the Niobe Labs Puzzle

Although it's still pretty tough to unlock.

Yesterday, Bungie unlocked the final installment of the Black Armory expansion for all, called ‘Bergusia Forge.’ This final Forge was meant to be unlocked through the completion of the Niobe Labs puzzle, a previous mission in the Black Armory expansion, but it appears the challenge has been too tough for anyone to actually solve.

Just below, you can see the complete layout for the Season of the Forge event in Destiny 2. Niobe Labs just recently released, but what’s not shown on the schedule is the Bergusia Forge, which Bungie revealed would only be opened to all players, once a team of elite streamers and Destiny 2 players had accomplished a difficult puzzle within Niobe Labs. However, this didn’t happen.

After more than 24 hours of failed attempts to accomplish the puzzle in Niobe Labs, Bungie caved, unlocking the Bergusia Forge for all Destiny 2 players. However this doesn’t mean that the challenge puzzle within Niobe Labs is going away—unlocking Bergusia Forge just isn’t tied to it any more.

Currently, although Bergusia Forge has been unlocked for Destiny 2 players, we’re not entirely sure how to actually gain access to the new Forge, that’s located somewhere within the European Dead Zone. We’ll make sure to keep an eye on this topic for more, and report back when there’s a solid method of unlocking the new mission.
