The next Call of Duty game is set to be revealed tomorrow, May 30 at 10 A.M. PT. That's according to a cryptic teaser from the Call of Duty Twitter account published today.
We know there's a new Call of Duty game out in the wild ever since Activision invited over a group of football players to try it out months ago. The hot rumor is that the new Call of Duty game is going to be set in the Modern Warfare series, and that it's a "soft reboot" of the first Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
The rumored named for this new Call of Duty? Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. At least according to several reports on the game. We'll hopefully know for sure tomorrow when Activision decides to reveal more this year's Call of Duty title.
This year's Call of Duty game is being developed by Infinity Ward; the studio responsible for past Modern Warfare titles. Like past games in the series, the new Call of Duty will apparently have a focus on realistic moments, which brings to mind the infamous "No Russians" mission.
Activision isn't just working on a new console Call of Duty this year. The company is also making a big push for Call of Duty mobile, which the company has talked about in several investor relations calls this past year. Details have already been released for Call of Duty Mobile's battle royale mode.
